- https://theskylive.com/ – gives you positions of all sky objects
- https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag/calculators/mobileDeclination.shtml – web app that shows both true north and magnetic north
- https://latlonconnect.app – shows you which other towns and cities lie on any given latitude (and longitude) line

- Flight Radar 24: Flight tracker https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flightradar24-flight-tracker/id382233851
- Stellarium; an excellent star viewing tool. Gives you the essentials and isn’t too complex. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/stellarium-mobile-star-map/id1458716890
- Next Spaceflight sends alerts (if you want it to) of all the upcoming rocket launches. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/next-spaceflight/id1448055760
- http://stowaway.live is a website that spots the aircraft and satellites around you, and lets you jump in for a ride; showing you satellite imagery of what they can see as they travel. Very cool! (use with Flight Radar in another screen and it’s even better)
